Catenians Funds

The Bursary Fund.

Catenians work to support and help Catholic youth throughout the world. In 1980 we formed the Bursary Fund, a UK-registered charity with the aim of offering financial help to young people about to volunteer to do something wonderful for others. Since then, we have distributed well over £1,000,000 and helped many thousands of young Catholics from all over the world, even from countries where there is no Catenian Presence.

Are you a Catholic between 16-24 years of age thinking of doing something wonderful to help others?

The Benevolent Fund.

On becoming a Catenian, we promise not to fail to aid and comfort a brother in difficulty or need. There are times when any of us can suffer material misfortune. It is to provide for times such as these, that the Catenians established what is now our Benevolent and Children’s Fund, a UK -registered Charity

The Trustees task is always to set out to give discreet, effective aid to every beneficiary in his or her predicament and not, except where it has a direct bearing, to question how that position was reached.

When enrolling into the Association brothers and their dependents can apply for support to this fund. Dependants can also apply after the brother’s death.
